What Sonix does

Upload an audio or video file and Sonix returns a transcript with timestamps. Speaker diarization marks who said what, and the same files can be transcribed or translated in 54+ languages. From a finished transcript you can produce subtitles, and AI insights add summaries, chapters and sentiment analysis.

The workspace holds more than transcripts. You can add documents next to your recordings and ask questions across all of those files at once. Integrations cover Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and Adobe Premiere, among others, a mobile app records audio that syncs back to the workspace, and an API is available for developers. On security, Sonix states SOC 2 Type 2 certification, HIPAA compliance and a zero-training policy on customer data.

Pricing comes in two forms. Pay-as-you-go is $10 per hour, prorated to the second, with 5 GB of storage and no AI workspace usage.
